Ilayathalapathy Vijay's forthcoming, 'Thupaki', is much expected due to reasons many. And boy oh boy, has the director roped in the best of talents for the cast and crew! The film boasts off some of the finest technicians in the country for the crew.
This project helmed by AR Murugadoss has music by Harris Jayaraj who has managed to make the Ilayathalapathy croon for a track after quite sometime. The song is said to be a fast paced peppy number.

The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu who is shelving all the money that's required to make the film a grand venture. Ace Thotta Tharani is the art director of the film that has editing by renowned Sreekar Prasad! Another fine bullet in this biggie is the multi-faceted Santosh Sivan who is handling the camera for this film. Most of the scenes are canned in Mumbai.
Vijay will be seen in a whole new stylish suave avatar in this film according to reliable sources. Apt to the title, the actor will be seen as an encounter specialist in 'Thupaki'. Kajal Aggarwal plays Vijay's love interest in this high voltage action entertainer and their on screen chemistry is one of the highlights.
The makers are toying with the idea of featuring Jai as Vijay's younger brother as the former has features that resemble Vijay and the duo make convincing siblings.

Billa II is an upcoming Indian Tamil gangster-thriller film directed by Chakri Toleti. It is a prequel to the 2007 film Billa and would focus on how David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don, with Ajith Kumar reprising the role of the titular character.It also features Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal, and Sudhanshu Pandey in supporting roles, all of whom make their debut in Tamil cinema.The film, which is being produced by Wide Angle Creations in association with the Hinduja Group company IN Entertainment, was officially announced in November 2010, with Vishnuvardhan as the director. Due to conflicting dates, he was replaced by Chakri Toleti, while a new script was penned by a team involving Toleti and Eric Felberg. Filming, which commenced in July 2011 and was completed by December 2011, took place primarily at Goa, Hyderabad and Georgia. Billa II is expected to release by early June 2012

Kochadaiyaan is an upcoming Tamil period film to be directed by Soundarya R. Ashwin and written by K. S. Ravikumar. The film will feature Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast, including R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar. The film, which is expected to be shot with motion capture in 3D, will have cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman. It will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Japanese and English.
